American Singer, Tina Turner, moved to Switzerland in 1995 when her longtime partner, German record executive Erwin Bach, was transferred. It is official; Singer Tina Turner has picked up her Swiss Passport at the Passport office in Zurich, last Monday!
Tina Turner was born Anna Mae Bullock. Now 73, she lives in the Zurich suburb of Kuesnacht. Approval from the canton of Zurich as well as Swiss federal authorities has been granted.
Why is Tina Turner switching from American to Swiss citizenship? The legendary singer, a longtime Zurich resident, told the Blick newspaper that she has been very happy in Switzerland and “Can’t imagine a better place to live.”
All you need to know is that the Superstar is now not a US citizen anymore, but Swiss citizen, same as Alain Delon, the ex-French actor!
