Willow Smith has a tongue piercing at 11? No. Relax everyone. It's a fake.
The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Willow caused a Twitter storm when she posted a picture of herself and a young friend sporting some metallic accessories — Willow with a tongue stud and her friend with a chin stud.
The 'Whip My Hair' singer has already turned heads with her bizarre hairstyles and eye-popping wardrobe, but it seemed that getting metal stuck through her tongue was taking it too far.
"That awkward moment when you find out Willow Smith has a tongue piercing. She's 11," wrote one shocked tweeter.
And even Willow's parents were dragged into the firing line: "Willow Smith is 11 and has a tongue ring. Where are her parents?"
The Twitterverse's fears were put to rest when Willow revealed the piercing was a hoax.
"It's fake … Sorry," she commented on the photo.
Good thing too, otherwise Jada and Will would have been breaking Californian law by letting their kid get a piercing.
